Phew. What a day. I'm still at work an hour-and-a-half past my usually quitting time (when the boss gave us permission to leave EARLY because of the weather and everything!) but I'm going into the weekend with a clear slate, so the extra time was well-spent.

This morning started about as hellish as a morning can start - arrived to a voice mail from Client A saying that their entire fax application had crashed, they were pissed as hell, and I better have answers IMMEDIATELY. (Which I didn't) Happily for me, someone else took over that problem and I got to focus on other things. Some fall-out support issues from the problem DID end up coming my way, and I was scrambling to keep up all day with those issues plus all the other hot items that kept popping up. (Reports suck.) But it was a controlled chaos. It might have even been kinda fun juggling everything, if it hadn't been for my arch-nemesis, The Whistler, and his nefarious cronies.

I'm closing out the day confident that things are stable for the weekend, at least, and that the client is relatively content with the situation...so I can take a deep breath and actually RELAX until Monday morning. Yay!
