I'm not usually much of a network-tv watcher, so the fall season hasn't been any big whoop for me in years... but I'm looking forward to it this year.
Just venting a little energy with a quickie list of shows I'm feeling squee-ful over.
1. White Collar
I'd be lying if I didn't admit up front that my interest in this show is largely influenced by the fact that I keep picturing this scenario as a Mag7 AU with Ezra as the con-artist-turned-crime-solver.
That said, the *actual* show looks pretty darn witty and adorable, too. I'm there.
2. NCIS
I think the episode promo people are actively *trying* to kill me with h/c-fangirl overload. Tony quipping with the bad guys while all mussed and whumpy and tied-up in a chair? *swoon*
3. NCIS:LA
Should be interesting. I only *just* discovered NCIS at the end of last season (thank you, USA Network for the marathons every other weekend) and have never had much interest in *other* procedural shows, so if they go a more standard route without the quirky-factor, it will be a tough sell. I do *adore* LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell, so I'm going in with intent to love it, but it'll need to offer a little more than hotties to keep me watching.
4. Flash Forward
I'm fairly confident this is going to end up like Heroes and Lost... something I watch for half a season, then find that I really don't *care* about the big mystery anymore.
5. V
Surprisingly intrigued by the preview. Several characters in there perk my interest in who they are and where they fall in terms of being with the Resistance or against them. It's a long wait until November, though. We'll see how my enthusiasm holds out. :)
6. Supernatural
They OD'd me on brotherly love and angsty family issues all the way back in Season 2, so I'll never be as completely infatuated by this show as I was then, but it's still must-see-tv. :)
I'll probably also be checking out the new seasons of Dollhouse, Lie to Me, and Bones (none of which have held my interest over the long-term, but I keep *wanting* to like them.)
Still very undecided on whether I'll even bother to try Stargate:Universe. None of the characters ping for me as being interesting to watch, and the blatant "Battlestar Galactica"-ness of the trailers has killed the last shred of interest I had in watching for the sake of the Stargate name on the box.
