This could be kinda cool:  Dickens Theme Park.  How cool would it be if this idea expanded?  I'm having visions of an Epcot-center sort of conglomeration of different kingdoms, each based around some distinctive literary theme or setting.  I am so there.  :)

On the other hand, this scares the shit out of me:  Natural History, Bible-Style.

And tied to that link by the fact that they're both sorta religion oriented, I thought the third episode of the "This American Life" tv series was so beautiful:  God's Close-Up

In addition to Dickens's London, I want to see Jane Austen's. Literary Paris should be there, with Dumas and Hugo. Madrid with Cervantes. Tolstoy's St Petersburg. How about Heian Kyoto for Murasaki and Shonagan? (sp?) ^_^

I think Shakespeare already has plenty of love from his various Shakespeare festivals, so I'm not desperate to put him in.

Should Edgar Allen Poe and Samuel Clemmens be invited to the party?
