Wow. Is this show for real? I feel like I've died and gone to my own personal fannish heaven. A "buddy" show that thrives on the relationships and gooey guilt and grief and love instead of trying to hide it behind the "action" agenda.
This was just such a culmination of everything that's been good about the show from early on and that I was resistant to fall for because I expected it to be a big tease...and KAPOW! There's all those lovely emotions actually getting to be the core of a finale instead of an afterthought, and the whole thing playing out ALMOST EXACTLY like I wanted it to...except, y'know, for the freakin' big semi. That was...bad. Yeah.
If this show doesn't survive the move to CW... *shudder*
And I just notice we've got a DVD announcement. Nice timing. Can't wait to go back and watch some eps. I skimmed through on the first pass. And a "sneak peak" at Season 2 as an extra? Here's hoping that's a good sign.
(And ok, I just gotta say...*SQUEEEEE* for the lovely owwies flying everywhere. Wish to hell I still had some fanfic left in me. These boys just suffer too, too prettily.)
