I forgot to say that you did a fabulous job with the character voices, but I think Buck is the closest. It's such an enjoyment listening to all of them. :)

Hee! Thanks! :) I'm glad they come across ok. I'm not as happy with Ezra in this as I was in the first one - he got too nasally - but after about six gajillion re-tries, I had to draw a line and just go with it. :) Buck didn't give me any trouble, at least. :)

He turned out fine, but I was really taken with Buck, tall, dark and awesome that he is. :)

Oh now that was a really gorgeous reading, I enjoyed it a lot. And your singing is fabulous, it's just perfect! I had the biggest grin on my face when the story finished :D It's a great read, of course, but one of the things I love about podfic is that it lets you experience a narrative in a different way. Reading Buck singing is all well and good, but actually hearing him ... :) I like the reading pitch of your voice very much btw and the pacing of the whole thing (one of the main things I tend to judge podfics by) was excellent. Yay you!

Yay! Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks! :)

I agree, it's such a different experience listening to a story. I think for me, it slows things down a bit and makes me focus a bit more, too, because you're getting every word, not skimming over certain sections, which I tend to do unconsciously when I'm reading.
