Just a quick personal-use thing, so I don't have to keep emailing this back and forth to myself at home/work as I add new ones.

I've had a scene stuck in my head that involves the Mag7 boys in the SG:A universe.  This is just me brainstorming a bit on that theme, using a prompt-set from the [livejournal.com profile] 1sentence  comm as fodder.   How they'd interact w/SG:A characters, plotbunnies and character backgrounds, etc.

39.  Overwhelmed:  “And THAT’S why I told you not to TOUCH anything!” McKay snarled, oblivious to JD’s wide-eyed horror at how close he came to blowing them all to kingdom come.

23.  Fire:  It’s always been their policy to avoid local conflicts – “Quick in and out. Get what we came for and go.” – but when they spot the charred, smoking rubble of the once-thriving village, Larabee’s expression darkens, and they all know that this time will be an exception.

42.  Talk:  Shepherd doesn’t miss the silent communication that passes between Larabee and Tanner before they follow him into the trees.

43.  Search: “You do what you have to do, but we’re not leaving without our people,” Chris said coldly, slamming down the radio without waiting for Dr. Weir’s response.

1.  Ring:  Nathan fingers the gold band Rain gave him before he left, and tries not to believe it’s all he has left of her.

6.  Hurricane:  “They’re evacuating the city,” JD tells them when he gets off the radio, and they eye each other grimly, wondering if they’re going to lose another home.

10.  Drink:  They're going to be late, but there's no way JD's going back now – not when he's the only one sober enough to face Chris's wrath and explain how Josiah and Buck managed to ruin a perfectly good trade agreement.

44.  Hope: When the Daedalus arrives, Elizabeth is not surprised to find Chris Larabee on her doorstep; what surprises her is the light in his eyes as he begs her to use the Daedalus to check on their homeworld… more naked, honest emotion than she’s ever seen from the man.

13.  View:  "Well, gentlemen, depending how you look at it, we've either just made a very bad choice, or learned a very useful lesson."

21.  Silence: Teyla feels Vin Tanner’s eyes on her, and finds herself more flattered by his unspoken admiration than any of Buck Wilmington’s enthusiastic compliments.

4.  Box:  Vin goes to the mainland every chance he gets; the walls of Atlantis tend to close in after a while.

27.  Fall: Shepherd takes it as a sort of personal accomplishment the first time he gets Chris Larabee to laugh; he just wishes he’d taken that pratfall on purpose.

29.  Dance: “The game is five-card stud, deuces wild, gentlemen.” Ezra Standish says with a gold-toothed grin, and from the way the cards dance to his tune, no one would ever guess that he’s just heard of this game two days ago.

33.  World:  Sue Thomas may be just a slightly-geeky lab tech whose only claim to fame is finding a way to dissolve that goo that glued Major Lorne's team together that one time, but when Buck Wilmington nibbles her... uhhhh... neck...  mmmm...   right...  oh...  *there*...   she feels like the most important person in the world.

5.  Run:  Pelting through a rain-soaked forest, dodging laser blast, with Buck and JD bickering on his right and Ezra giving an occasional whoop of laughter from somewhere on his left – Vin can’t think of anywhere he’d rather be.

41.  Wait: Standish watched Rodney pace the length of their cell for a few minutes, then commented bemusedly: “Patience does not appear to be one of your virtues, Dr. McKay.”

Lots of very cool ideas in these; I certainly hope to see some fics grow. I love how you have Ezra in these, especially #41 and 29.

Thanks! It's nice to know they sound interesting. I do think it's a fun scenario with lots of potential. (I love #41, too. :) )

I'd love to be able to get some actual fic out of it... At this point I'm just sorta floundering around with a million ideas, hoping an actual *plot* will come down and whomp me on the head. ^_^

Thanks, again!

Well, hopefully the plot will come soon and not cause too much damage to you; damage to the guys is to be expected.
