I've been so swamped again this week, I just want to disappear. Ugh.
But I just had to squee over SPN a bit. There was something rather off about the first episode. It felt like a lot of my writing... I know there's a good story in there somewhere, all the pieces sound good in outline, but in execution, it just won't quite click. At some point, you just give up trying to rewrite it again... you just say "Fuck it." and hope no one notices that it's not quite there.
This week, though... *happy sigh*. I just want to bottle JA's delivery of "He isn't, is he?" and make it last for longer than that split second. The way that boy can turn me into mush... *happy sigh*
New girl was more appealing this week, beyond just the plot twist. She had a lot more screen presence in her more extended time on-screen than I'd have given the actress credit for. I greatly dislike the "not telling you my motives for helping, because we need to hold something back for sweeps week" situation with her, but that's not the character's fault, I guess. =P
