The mandatory election-day post.

I expected to be nervous today.  I've been haunted by my inner concern-troll all week, but today, I just feel good.  There's something in the pit of my stomach that says things are going to turn out all right, and little moments keep feeling like good omens...

As I was driving to work through an upper-class, McCain-dominated neighborhood that I drive through every day, I suddenly noticed half a dozen Obama signs poking out where I'd never seen them before. 

I already early-voted last Monday, but I saved the "I Voted" sticker and slapped it on my chest first thing this morning.  Every time I smooth it down or make sure it's sticking ok, I'm making a "pledge of alleigance" gesture.

Stuff like that.  Here's hoping it's not all an elaborate hoax.  :)
